I believe that cc should be free for everyone, and it should be available on the open internet.
There is no financial threshold that makes people more or less deserving of participating in this community.

Rebels has changed a lot in the past 5 years, and it's no secret that we've been chased with DMCA claims, both valid and not. Out of all of the different forms we've taken, its become clear that people want more than just a place to download whatever they want. It is also simply not feasible or sustainable to just go out and collect and manage all the paywalled content as a free service. Rebels Staff have put in thousands of hours behind the scenes already, and truthfully some of y'all are still really rude and don't deserve it. Rebels thrives when people can work together and can freely exchange content with their friends. I mean, we're all friends here, right?

Going forward, we would like to provide a place for that. Rebels was born on a seedy forum, so it's only fitting that now we have our own.
